LHRIC’s Kelly Nocca promoted to role of Customer Service Coordinator - Ed Tech

Veteran Instructional Technology team member will support key digital platforms

Senior Facilitator Kelly Nocca has been promoted to Customer Service Coordinator on the Lower Hudson Regional Information Center’s Instructional Technology team, a move that recognizes her exceptional dedication and track record of innovation on behalf of the LHRIC and its member school districts.

 Kelly NoccaIn her new role, Ms. Nocca will support critical platforms—namely learning management systems, content management systems, and district and school administrative programs—ensuring seamless communication and responsive service.

“Ms. Nocca has long been a trusted member of our team, and her innovative approach to educational technology will continue to be an asset as she supports our district partners in leveraging vital learning platforms,” Instructional Technology Manager Mary Lynn Collins-Callanan said. “Her expertise in working alongside teachers in classrooms and her strategic planning with building and district leaders have prepared her for success in this new position. The LHRIC team is excited to have Kelly in this role.”

As a Senior Facilitator, Ms. Nocca demonstrated a commitment to instructional excellence and innovation, notably in her work leading conversations with administrators on developing and implementing AI for teachers and students. Ms. Nocca is a CoSN regional trainer for developing GenAI capacity in K-12. She also created a groundbreaking Esports service and led extensive technology training. Reflecting on her new role, Ms. Nocca is enthusiastic.

“I’m excited for the challenge,” she said. “I’m looking forward to having productive new experiences and working with people here at the LHRIC and in our districts in a different capacity.”

Nocca's experience includes roles as a District Staff Developer and consultant work at IBM. In her new role, she’ll champion student success through enhanced technology support.

“It’s definitely a nice fit,” Ms. Nocca added. “I come to the work from a lot of different avenues. I have a strong technical background, I come from a teaching background, and I have a parent background.”
