How do I manually override a final grade?

Overriding a Final Grade for students

Occasionally, teachers need to modify a student’s final grade in a course based on effort, participation, or other classroom factors. The Score Inspector allows you to change a final grade with the Manual Override tool.

To override grades:

1. Double-click a final grade to open the Score Inspector.

2. If the Score Inspector is already open, click the final grade once.

3. Check Manual Override.

4. Change the percent and grade and add a comment.

5. Click Close and then click Save to retain the changes.
