Providing online classes is rapidly gaining popularity in K-12 due to its effectiveness on learning outcomes, ease of accessibility, flexibility, variety of courses, and economic benefit. Whether your districts is looking at blended or full online solutions, the LHRIC has partnership solutions to meet the needs of any K-12 community.
The Videoconferencing service is proven to be effective in engaging students with each other as well as experts from a cross the street and across the globe in hands-on collaborations and dialog. With over 50 video conferencing end points supported by the LHRIC across the region and hundreds across the state in partner BOCES, and unlimited number across the country - opportunities abound for students in our schools.
The Video on Demand service is an effective solution when schools continue to improve communicate within and to their community, their own customized version of YouTube. District office can publish video to provide timely and important information to the public; teachers use it for sharing lessons and information with students, parents and their peers; students use video to demonstrate projects, subject mastery, creativity and innovation.
Web based meetings & training with Adobe Connect - Save time and money this year! The LHRIC is excited to offer districts access to the centrally hosted Adobe Connect Webinar software solution. With budget shrinking the need to hold synchronous meetings and trainings without the time and cost of travel is essential for educators. Adobe Connect is an easy to use interface that provides that access for any user in your school community.
