Content Management Systems
The Model Schools department supports our schools in improving the home to school connection by using sophisticated communication tools. There are a host of products that support schools in this endeavor.
Currently the LHRIC has contracts with the following products:
- Blackboard - private course management system. Allows instructors to post homework and conduct "virtual" type classes with students.
- eChalk - content management system and course management system. This complete communication system allows school users to have an integrated web based email, class page area, public and private intranet.
- SchoolCenter - (contract in progress) public content management system with unlimited class page creation.
- SchoolWorld - public content management system, with unlimited class page creation and add-on modules to enhance your school/district's web site.
